Esta producción de Brodway cuenta la historia de una pareja fallecida que intenta perseguir a los nuevos habitantes de su antiguo hogar y pidiendo la ayuda del fantasma Beettlejuice. Uno de los nuevos habitantes es una niña, Lydia, que se enfrenta a la muerte de su madre.
