Esta producción escrita por Jonathan Larson y presentada por primera vez en Brodway en el teatro Nederlander, narra la historia de un grupo de siete amigos durante un año iniciando el día de navidad. Durante este año este grupo se enfrenta a diversos retos tanto en sus vidas personales como en su comunidad.

Esta obra cuenta con cuatro mpremios y otras siete nominociones en los premios Tony asi mismo como un Pulitzer Prize, asi mismo como seis premios y cuatro nominaciones en los Drama Desk Award y un Theatre World
