Este emblemático musical estrenado por primera vez en Brodway en el teatro Nederlander, inspirado en el movimiento Newsboy Strike de 1899 cuenta la historia de Jack "Vaquero" Kelly y de como forma su amistad con los hermanos Jacobs al mismo tiempo que forman parte dc un movimiento para dignificar el trabajo de los niños carteros de Nueva York.


Esta producción cuenta con dos premios Tony y seis nominaciones a estos. Al mismo tiempo, a ganado dos Drama Desk Award y a tenido 4 nominaciones en estos.
